Governance, knowledge culture and organisational culture
The political world is growing increasingly complicated, but also more colourful, lively and open-minded.
Multi-level politics broaden the perspective, allowing a larger number of players to become involved, make their voice heard, and contribute to the development of the overall system. This applies to the state and its agencies, to organisations and to companies. nexus helps to identify these new opportunities of governance and to develop and implement new cultures of knowledge and organisation. Web-based methods offer new possibilities of participation, feedback and motivation within organisations, but also at the broad societal level. nexus examines how and why governmental and organisational patterns of behaviour change and what leads to the acceptance of participatory structures. nexus develops new methods for qualitative knowledge management and cooperates with partners to launch new knowledge services, such as knowledge coaching. nexus takes charge of the cooperation management for companies, initiatives, policy-makers and administrations. Apart from conducting evaluations and impact assessments concerning the introduction of new I&C technologies and processes, nexus is engaged in the development of new, attractive Internet and e-commerce applications. nexus links this analytical and empirical expertise with new forms of participation for staff employed in organisations and companies.
