The economic region Schraden in the extreme south of Brandenburg has been accepted as a Leader+ - Region for some years now. An association of the same name has developed a concept for the development of the region which forms the basis for innovative and feasible projects and actions as well as as for their being funded by the
Leader+ programme. The focus of this regional development strategy is on the implementation of new technologies and the widening of know how in order to increase the competitiveness of innovative products and services from the region. The major objectives of these activities are to identify regional potential and to develop new regional partnerships.
The local association Verein Wirtschaftsraum Schraden e.V., which is responsible for regional management in the Schraden, commissioned nexus to build and maintain a network for "Technology oriented Products and Services".
nexus supports companies of the region in exchanging information and experience, in developing and requiring projects. In the future the efforts on cooperations beyond the region will be a new focus.
